In addition to student orientation, we offer a corresponding one-day Parent & Family Orientation session. Family members that participate in this program will attend sessions led by university administration, faculty members, and current students. Each session will include information on how to support your student’s success at Appalachian State University. This program is separate from Student Orientation, but happens concurrently.
If family members wish to participate, they MUST register to attend. There is a 2 guest maximum.
Full Orientation Schedules will be coming soon and posted to our website. Please plan to be on campus around 8:00 am to check in and participate in on-campus sessions from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with several breaks throughout the day.
